Emily received her Bachelor of Nursing degree and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah, and is nationally board certified as a WHNP and CNM. Emily is very passionate about women’s health. She is committed to personalized and compassionate care for all women with a strong belief that every woman deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and sensitivity.

She believes fervently that her patients should be heard and be integral participants in their health management. She cares for women throughout the lifespan from early adolescence to senior adulthood. She possesses a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in all things woman! Providing evidenced-based care is essential in modern-day health care practices, and she is tenacious in her pursuit of professional growth to ensure that the care she provides is relevant and effective.

Emily is a California native, but grew up primarily in the Washington D.C. area. However, she has lived in Utah for over 30 years, and considers herself a true Utahan. She has been married to her husband for almost 35 years, and they have 7 children, 15 grandchildren, and 1 very spoiled dog named Tulip.

Emily’s passion for women’s health stems from her humanitarian work in Africa over the last 20 years. She runs a humanitarian organization that is dedicated to the empowerment of girls and the health education of women. She enjoys reading, traveling, any outdoor activity, and spending time with her family.
