Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), Ashley is uniquely positioned to serve the Deaf community, a group often underserved in maternal health care. She is passionate about providing accessible, inclusive care to Deaf individuals and their families, offering them the same level of support, understanding, and personalized care she provides to all her patients. Ashley believes that every person deserves to feel empowered and informed throughout their health and fertility journeys, regardless of language or hearing ability.

With her nursing experience, Ashley has served in diverse roles across labor and delivery, women’s health clinics, and academic settings. She has managed high-risk pregnancies, assisted with over 50 vaginal births and several cesarean sections, and implemented quality improvement initiatives, such as preeclampsia risk screening protocols. As an educator and mentor, Ashley also shares her expertise with aspiring nurses through her roles as an adjunct faculty member and virtual childbirth educator.

Ashley loves to crochet, play pickleball, and hike in Southern Utah. She feels that midwifery is her calling and considers it a profound honor to be entrusted by women with their care during such pivotal moments in their lives.
