PRENATAL

The is a 5 hour class and includes a reserved spot for you and a partner. You must be 28 weeks along to sign up. In the course, we will review the following:

This 3-hour class is offered in an interactive and supportive environment, taught by a certified lactation consultant with extensive experience in supporting breastfeeding families.

Develop the ability to recognize and respond to your baby’s hunger cues, promoting responsive and demand-driven feeding.

Explore the numerous advantages of breastfeeding for both infants and mothers, including improved immunity, bonding, and overall health benefits.

Gain knowledge about the anatomy and physiology of lactation, including breast structure, milk production, and the hormonal processes involved.

Discover techniques to achieve a proper latch, ensuring effective milk transfer and preventing discomfort or complications.

Learn practical strategies to establish and maintain an abundant milk supply, including tips for initiating breastfeeding for the first time after birth.

Identify and troubleshoot common breastfeeding challenges such as engorgement, sore nipples, low milk supply, and latch difficulties.
