  • A bathrobe, slippers, socks and a few changes of clothes
  • Items to help you relax and be comfortable (a favorite pillow, noise machine, music, something to read or anything else you find reassuring).
  • Any medications you need daily (please make sure your doctor knows what medications you are taking to make sure there will be no adverse interactions with any medication you are given during your hospital stay).
  • Camera or smartphone with charger and batteries to document your birth
  • Toiletries
  • Snacks
  • Money
  • An outfit and comfortable shoes to go home in
  • Anything else you might want during your stay
