Headaches
Pregnancy FAQs
Headaches can be a normal part of pregnancy unless they persist or combined with other symptoms.
Headaches are quite common in all stages of pregnancy (particularly if you have a history of headaches). Rest, stress reduction and Tylenol with a caffeinated drink may help. If headaches are prolonged or accompanied by blurred vision, swelling, upper abdominal pain, please call us.
DO NOT take aspirin, anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, Advil, Nuprin) or naproxen (Naprosyn). If your headache persists, please contact us.
