He is fluent in Spanish and proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. His love for people has taken him on medical missions to Cambodia and the Dominican Republic. One of his unique skill sets includes fundraising for the underserved. During the peak of the 2020 COVID pandemic, Dr. Boyer spearheaded a University-wide fundraiser for the local food bank, providing food for kids who were no longer receiving meals at school. Dr. Boyer is the father of 2 children, one son and a daughter. In his free time, he enjoys doing anything active and considers himself an adrenaline junkie. You can frequently find him working out at the gym, hiking with his family, riding his motorcycle, golfing or chasing after his kids. A passion of Dr. Boyer’s is creating sincere relationships with his patients. He will listen to your concerns and do everything he can to place you at the center of your care.
