Deena Balls is a Certified Nurse Midwife with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care for women through every stage of life. She earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University and brings nearly a decade of experience in labor and delivery nursing to her role at Valley Women’s Health.

Before becoming a midwife, Deena served as Director of Women’s Services at Cache Valley Hospital, where she led her team to multiple awards for excellence in patient care, safety, and experience. Her leadership was recognized when she received the hospital’s first-ever Leader of the Year award in 2024.

Deena is passionate about empowering women through education, connection, and individualized care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the small-town life she loves in northern Utah.
